The village is located mid-mountain, which means that all the accommodation, restaurants, pubs and shopping are truly ski-in ski-out. Silver Star Mountain Resort is located 14 miles (22 km) northeast of Vernon. From Vernon drive north on Highway 97 and turn east on Silver Star Road. There are daily flights to Kelowna from most major Canadian cities including non-stop flights from Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton.
